Febgrout Flowable

Febgrout Flowable is a structural fluid precision grout formulated to deliver high strength, shrinkage compensation and vibration resistance. It can be poured or pumped and fills gaps in concrete from 10mm to 150mm wide, making it suitable for a wide range of structural grouting applications including bridge bearings, machine bedding, stanchion base plates, parapet legs, post fixings, and filling cavities, voids and recesses. Pre-batched for consistent quality and ready to mix with water only, it contains no chloride admixtures and offers high water and rain resistance. Fire rating and protection properties are comparable to concrete. Complies with EN 1504-6. Available in 25kg bags.

Good to know

• Mix ratio: 4.0 to 4.5 litres of water per 25kg bag
• Add powder to water and mix continuously for 3 minutes to achieve a uniform, lump free consistency
• Use a forced action grout mixer, or a slow speed drill at 200 to 500rpm with a spiral paddle
• Pour into header box or hopper ensuring continuous flow to avoid trapping air
• In cold weather use warm water to assist strength gain
• After initial hardening remove formwork and trim edges while concrete is still green
• Protect fresh material from premature drying using a curing compound, moist membrane or polythene sheet
• Clean tools with water immediately after use, hardened material can only be mechanically removed
• Layer thickness 10mm minimum to 150mm maximum
• Apply between +5°C and +30°C
• Initial set 210 minutes, final set 300 minutes
• Shelf life 9 months
• Store between +5°C and +35°C in dry conditions in original unopened packaging
